Folk-singing and acoustic jam

Lovers of folk and ’60s music meet the first and third Saturday of every month in Pembroke Pines to sing, play guitars (and any other instruments) and share their love of music. No musical training is required, and singers of all levels of talent are welcome. The members use the “Rise Up Singing” songbook or bring photocopies of favorite music.

The Open Door Singers and Musicians Group (formerly known as SOJO, Sing Out Jam Out) event lasts from 2 to 5 p.m. and is in the clubhouse of the Hollybrook Golf and Tennis Club condominium complex, 900 South Hollybrook Drive, Pembroke Pines. Enter through the complex’s second gate. When you come through the gate, take the first left and park.  There is an elevator outside under the building; take it to the second floor. The meetup is in room 218.

There is no charge to attend.
