POSTED BY

The South Florida Folk & Acoustic Music Festival returns for its highly anticipated 39th year January 30 through February 1, 2026, transforming the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds into a vibrant celebration of music and community. The three-day outdoor festival — fully under cover — features more than 60 performers on two stages, hands-on workshops, open jam tents, artisan vendors, food trucks, camping, and activities for all ages.

This year’s headliners include Livingston Taylor, John McCutcheon, and South Florida favorite Mean Mary, alongside a dynamic lineup of regional and national artists representing folk, Americana, bluegrass, blues, and acoustic roots music. Festival-goers can explore songwriting intensives, instrument demonstrations, artist showcases, and collaborative jam sessions designed for players of every skill level.

The National Singer-Songwriter Competition winners will perform from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, January 31. WLRN favorite Michael Stock and Vintage Rock Radio VR2 DJ Michael Yunis, along with local judge Susan Moss, will be judging the 12 performers. This group of 12 has been narrowed from the 60+ who applied from all over our country. The South Florida Singer-Songwriter Competition winners will perform at 6:30 p.m. Friday, January 30.

Sunday, February 1, is Kids’ Music Day from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring fun and interactive programming for young music lovers, including Mr. Noam’s Kids’ Music Circle, Songwriting for Kids with Grant Livingston, Puppet Karaoke, “Make-Your-Own Shakers,” and more. Kids 12 and under attend FREE (with paid adult admission).

The festival is presented by the South Florida Folk and Acoustic Music Club, a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing acoustic music across the region. It brings together musicians, music lovers, educators, and families for a weekend of creativity and connection.

The festival also will include jams, workshops, vendors, food trucks and overnight camping under cover.
